Two’s Company // Logan + Faye
Faye was taking advantage of the cooler weather, and the fact that Tina had stepped out of the dorm they shared, and had opened the window to let the crisp, fresh breeze in. The tree by her window rustled in the wind, one of Faye’s favorite things to hear. She knew that none of the trees shed their leaves in Florida, but Faye didn’t mind. She was going to keep Logan company anyway.
Faye slid off the windowsill and slid the pane closed, locking the window behind her and moving to her bed. She pulled a warm, grey sweatshirt she had borrowed from Billy some time ago, gathering her things — including her sketchbook, which she hadn’t touched in ages — and heading down the steps and out the door. A fresh breeze hit her full in the face, causing her to smile as she made a dash across the lawn to the art studio.
